Step 1
Wire a trigger port as follows

Step 2
Add the port as a premium io device in pdk io. Name the device System Lockdown or whatever name that is desired and select the icon. Make sure the REX option is selected in configuration settings.

Step 3
Create a system event called System Lockdown. Have it available 24/7. (System Events Overview)
Select "On Rex Open" as your trigger.
Select one of the following for the action:
- "Do Not Disturb" will toggle between a lockdown, meaning once you push the button, it will change to a lockdown mode, and then when pushed again, it will remove the lockdown.
- "Lockdown On" will initiate the lockdown, but will not remove the lockdown.
- "Lockdown Off" will remove the lockdown, but cannot initiate the lockdown.
- Sometimes there are policies where multiple people can initiate a lockdown, but only certain people can remove the lockdown. If using the "Lockdown On" and "Lockdown Off" function, two ports will need to be wired as trigger ports, one for each action. So port 1 could be for Lockdown on, and port 2 would be for Lockdown Off.

Choose the port you named "System Lockdown" as the source device, and then any doors you wish to lockdown under "Target Devices."

Step 4
Test it out in States. Activating the button should lockdown all doors, pushing it again will remove the lockdown. This means Admins can lock down the system from their computer or smartphone.

Step 5
Give desired people permission to the lockdown button.

By giving users permissions to the "System Lockdown" device, it will then appear in their Touch App, which will let them trigger a lockdown remotely.
