PDK io Dashboard Overview
All your customers can be easily managed in a single app. The touch io app is designed for both dealers and their clients. As a dealer, the system can be configured and changes made on the fly as needed. Clients can easily manage users, create groups, open and close doors, and receive text messages and email alerts from any mobile device.
- For Apple devices, the mobile app is distributed in the App Store.
- For Android devices, the mobile app is distributed in the Google Play Store.
Use our simple pdk io app to easily connect to any pdk io product, manage system settings, and set system configurations. There’s no longer a need for an on-site computer or server with expensive software.
All of the pdk io devices are designed with plug n’ play in mind. That means they’re super-easy to install right out of the box. It’s simple to add any pdk io device; it doesn’t matter how large the job is. Single doors (single io) are easily added to a Cloud Node. The single io works with the Cloud Node to control any additional doors. Just install the single io at each door location. The Cloud Node can communicate with up to 1,000 io devices.
Upgrades to the system are quick and easy! The io line of products isn’t just intended for new installations; older systems can easily and quickly be added to. The pdk Cloud Node conforms to existing industry standards, making it easy to upgrade any type of system. For larger systems, the eight io can be used for quick and simple system conversion.
The eight io is perfect for new hardware applications or for taking over those systems that already have a wired connection to each door. It can power up to 8 doors. It can also double as a 10-floor elevator controller, providing a seamless elevator solution.
Pdk Home Icon
The pdk Home icon is found at the top left of the screen. When in the Cloud Node icons home screen, click the PDK Home icon to return to the screen list of Customers, Cloud Nodes, and Permissions. To go back to the main page that shows all the systems tied to your profile, you may need to select the Home button more than once.
When interacting in any of the ten available Cloud Node icon options (People, Groups, System Events, Auto Open, Elevators, Reports, Partitions, Door States, Live Events, or Configuration), clicking the PDK Home icon returns to the Cloud Node Appliances home screen.
NOTE: The types of icons shown in the Cloud Node Appliances home screen vary depending on the user’s role assigned in Permissions.
The Search Home icon is found at the top center of the screen. Within a customer’s account, this icon is used to search for people, groups, or doors within the account. Search by customer name as well as Cloud Node data by name or serial number.
Click on the help! icon in any screen in which this icon appears to view context-sensitive help information. Screen information similar to the following is displayed.
