Instantly know and be able to change the status of each door at your facility from a single glance. The intuitive interface not only allows the capability to see whether a door is locked, unlocked, propped, or forced but also allows the state of the door to be changed using your mobile device. Specific door states, from a select list, may be searched to view those doors that are currently in that state.
The real-time state of your connected doors are visually represented with icons, giving complete control to view and change the state of the doors attached to the system, such as open, close, clear a forced alarm, lock, unlock, and more.
To monitor the live state of every door on the account, select Door States from the Cloud Node Appliances home screen. Each door and elevator floor will be displayed showing its current status. For example, when a door is locked, the door status will show a gray locked icon. If a yellow unlocked icon is displayed, that door will be unlocked. If a door position sensor is installed and the door is open, the status icon will display a yellow open door.
Door States Overview
Permission roles of Integrator, Admin, and Manager have access to the Door States features.
Click the Door States icon in the Cloud Node Appliances home screen to set a door state. A list of available configured doors is displayed in alpha order beneath the Filters field, similar to the following, with the door state icons beneath the door name, representing the door’s current status.
Users in the software can also use this screen to unlock a door. To do this, simply click the door icon, and select Open. The door will unlock for the amount of time programmed in Configuration. If you want to unlock the door for an indefinite period of time, select the Force Toggle icon . The door will remain unlocked. To relock the door, a second Force Toggle
will need to be initiated.
Click on the door name or on the down arrow to the right of the door’s name to reveal the DND and UNLOCK 5 MIN door options.

DND (Do Not Disturb) - Overrides the set state of a door. Toggles the “Do Not Disturb” status of the door/relay. On DND status, the door is locked and unresponsive to regular access attempts until the DND status is removed. |

UNLOCK 5 MIN - The default setting is to unlock the door for 5 minutes. This setting may be adjusted to any time between 0 and 90 minutes by selecting the three-dot menu button to the right. Use the slider to specify the desired time that the door can be unlocked. At the conclusion of the set time, the door will relock. |
Users can select DND to place the door on Do Not Disturb. When a door is in Do Not Disturb mode, the status icon will show a red padlock. No credentials will be granted access to a door when in Do Not Disturb mode. To remove the Do Not Disturb setting, simply click the DND button a second time. Select UNLOCK 5 MIN to unlock a door for a 5 minute period or the time may be adjusted between 0 and 90 minutes by selecting the three-dot menu button and use the slider to adjust the time.
There is also the option to view and change the state of the connected doors listed beneath the Filters field heading. Each of the listed doors shows a series of icons under the door name based on the door’s current state.
To change the state of a connected door, click and hold on a door icon or click on an icon and select an option.
The door icons shown will vary depending on the current state of the door. The table below shows the variety of icons and their descriptions. As the cursor hovers over an icon, its description is displayed.

Sort by
Sort the displayed order of the doors. Click in the Sort by field to select either:
- Name A to Z - Ascending order
- Name Z to A - Descending order
Filters
Click anywhere to the right of the Filters field name or on the down arrow to the far right to toggle the display of the Name and States options.
Name
The Name field provides the ability to perform a search for a specific door name from the list of doors below in order to view and/or change the state of that door from its current state. To search for a specific door, enter the door name in the Search field. As the door name is entered, it is isolated from the other doors, enabling its current state to be changed.
States
Click the + icon next to States to view and select from the list of available state(s) for the door. When one or more state(s) are checked, the doors with those selected states are displayed. The doors listed are filtered based on the selection(s) in States.
As an example, to find all the doors with a current Door Propped Alarm (illustrated with an orange triangle icon, meaning that following a valid read and open, the door has not closed), check Door Propped Alarm and click SELECT.
Any doors with an orange triangle icon are displayed and isolated from any other door states, providing the opportunity for the alarm to be cleared and, if necessary, those doors can be manually closed.
Check the desired States options from the list or use the Filter field to search for a specific door state.
