To set a Static (permanent) IP address on a Cloud Node, contact Technical Support. It will be necessary for Support to remotely access your computer to install the required tool that will be able to see the Cloud Node. The support-installed tool enables a static IP address to be set.
Prior to calling Support, you will need to get a valid IP address (the IP address that will be set using the Support tool), the subnet mask address, the gateway address, and your server name from your company's IT person or department.
Ensure that your computer is on the same network as the Cloud Node so that the support-installed tool can see the Cloud Node.
