If at all possible when installing a maglock, we recommend not using bond sensors for the DPS. For some reason, the bond sensors can interfere with pdk programming.
Magnetic Bond Sensors are used to detect an armature plate and notify access control and/or alarm systems when a door is properly secured. Bond sensors are far more sensitive and not as reliable as a standard Door Position Switch. If the sensor does not line up perfectly, it will not work. Maglocks are difficult to damage and are much less at risk to manipulation than typical locks.
