Here we will walk you through the necessary steps to set up a group rule to use a card/PIN during a certain time frame.
Click on the Groups icon in the Cloud Node Appliances home screen. Select the desired group name from the list of groups. If required, select a partition from the Partition field.
Click the + icon next to Rules.
Click on the Event tab.
Assign a unique Name for the event that will describe what the event will do.
In the Schedule section, select a Start Time and Stop Time to indicate when the Access Card/PIN can be used. (Times when the door(s) can be accessed.)
If this will be a Recurring event, select the days of the week for the door(s) to be accessed.
If this will be a Single Date such as for a holiday or other special event, set the date in the field in the form MM/DD/YYYY or click on the down arrow to set a date from the calendar.
In the Authentication Policy section, click inside the field or on the down arrow to access the drop-down list of options for how to use a Card/PIN.
Select the + icon next to Doors to check the door(s) to be opened after using a Card/PIN. Click SELECT.
Click SAVE at the top right to save your work.
